Neato is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our growing IT Team in Newark, CA.
You would be responsible for the following:
Research, design, implement, manage and troubleshoot information solutions in support of business needs.
Manage IT infrastructure, networking equipment, firewall, servers, wireless networks.
System administration of on-site and cloud servers/systems.
Responsible for installation and configuration of video, communications, and other facility based organizational interconnectivity equipment.
Provide desktop support to staff/business users by responding to service requests regarding Microsoft office use, user accounts, network connectivity, printing and other technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsible for Installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of staff computers and associated peripherals.
Provides instruction as necessary to staff regarding hardware and software use.
Hardware and software procurement, asset tracking and inventory management.
Other IT projects/tasks as assigned.
B.S./B.A in a technical or business field, or equivalent work experience
4+ years of experience in technical and systems support including installing and troubleshooting servers, desktops and network hardware, software, VM infrastructure and related equipment.
Strong working knowledge of network infrastructure – switches, routers, firewalls, LAN/WAN, AP, VOIP, VLAN, DMZ
Strong working knowledge of common network protocols and services including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, LDAP, Group Policy, SMTP, FTP, TCP and associated fundamentals.
Experience with Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Linux environments.
Project management skills (able to start and finish projects)
Wireless (both WiFi and DAS)
VMWare/ Hyper-V experience
